A tribute to Italian culture and manufacturing
Last Thursday Alfa Romeo celebrated Italian culture and creativity as a guest at this year's Italian Contemporary Excellence event at Alfa Romeo Racing (Sauber Motorsport AG) in Hinwil. Alfa Romeo presented together with selected partners, the most prestigious products of Italian style and luxury.
Exclusive and unmistakable style
Italy is known for its culture and history and loved far beyond its borders. The Italian Contemporary Excellence Event was under the banner of Made in Italy, combined with superior design and convincing quality. In an exclusive setting, Alfa Romeo, together with the Italian Embassy in Bern, hosted an event at Alfa Romeo Racing. There were: Ferrari Kessel Zugo, Patrimony 1873, Acqua Di Parma, Ferrari Spumante, Technogym, S. Pellegrino, Acqua Panna, Amici Caffè and Excelsior with Canali.
Antonio Giovinazzi in the heart of the "Cuore Sportivo" (Sports Heart)
At a Meet & Greet the guests met Antonio Giovinazzi and Frédéric Vasseur, Team Manager of the Sauber F1 Formula 1 team. The young Italian driver and Alfa Romeo Racing driver Antonio Giovinazzi delighted the over 200 guests with a photo session and his reports from the track, as well as tips and tricks on the cars. Klaus Busse, Head of Design, answered the numerous guests' questions about the development of stylistic creations in Alfa Romeo history.
Range of Alfa Romeo vehicles
Sébastien Perrais, CEO of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Switzerland (FCA), presented the most prestigious Alfa Romeo cars. In addition to a vintage car, the Stelvio Benzina TI, the Stelvio Quadrifoglio and the Giulia Quadrifoglio also appeared in a sports version.
The dinner was characterized by the award-winning culinary skills of Michelin-starred chef Giuseppe D'Errico. The musical entertainment was provided by London-based band London Essentials, which lit the evening with a surprising performance. Italian wines from Frescobaldi and Ferrari Spumante framed the evening's success.
